Rocky Cove Mining Company

1. Rocky Cove Mining Company has brought the experience and excitement of gemstone panning to Northern Virginia. Our custom-made sluice can accommodate 12 prospectors at a time so that they can gather semi-precious stones for tumbling, collecting and trading. It is educational and entertaining (Edu-tainment). It is as easy as A-B-C to put semi-precious gems in your hands:
   
   
   • Select a bag of mining "rough" enriched with additional gems from around the world.
   
   
   • Place part of the rough from the bag in a screen bottom box.
   
   
   • Dip the box in the sluice and watch the gems appear as the soil washes away.
   
   


2. All bags of mining rough come with an identification postcard, zip lock bag and personalized (four-color and photo quality) labels from the mining rough bag and "keeper" bag.


3. All bags of rough contain a wide variety of semi-precious gems and mix. No two bags are alike – so start your collection today!
